A most intriguing scarf, designed to be knit in DK or Worsted Weight yarns, using short rows to create a great design -- this will keep your interest for sure for sure!
By Marin Melchior, we have put together some kits for this Topographical Scarf.
Please make sure to get your pattern directly from Marin on her Ravelry page here. We have set up kits assuming that you are getting the pattern from her for storing in your Rav library.
The original yarn that Marin used for her scarf has been discontinued. She recommends any with long color run yarns and spefically mentions Urth Yarns' Uneek Worsted.
You can see our yarns in the inset photos on the top picture and again below that.
Both of our yarns here are from Urth yarns. The first, with long-ish color runs, is Uneek Worsted, 100% extrafine merino, plied, with 220 yards/ 100g. The second is Harvest Worsted, again of 100% extrafine superwash merino with 225 yards/ 100g.
One skein of each makes up the kit.
1. Color #4012, with green, lime, turquoise, plum, violet and some beige.
2. Indigo, an almost-solid of very deep blue.
Kit B: (Sorry, sold out)
1. Color #4002: This is a medley of warmer colors including goldenerod, teal, olive, brick, beige, and lime.
2. Ecru is a solid cream color.
