A most lovely shawl, perfect for those of us addicted to brioche knitting already and for those who would love to learn the technique.
Waves at Dusk is by Ashleigh from Wanderlust Fiber Arts and uses Malabrigo's Arroyo yarns beautifully. And we just happened to be able to get in the exact yarn in the exact colorways she used here.
Please make sure to get the pattern directly from Ashleigh on her Ravelry page here. What we offer is the yarn to knit it with.
Here is what the designer writes about this beautiful piece:
For several months, I lived in Huanchaco, Peru - a small fishing and tourist town along Peru's Northern Coast.
One of my favorite memories (looking back, probably not the safest!) What sitting on my surfboard with a couple of friends just past where the waves would break and watching the sun go down.
This shawl is inspired by the silence of the waves.
This triangular shawl uses two-color brioche stitch and simple shaping to create a sea of calm and elegant wavy edge.
The Yarn and Colorways
Arroyo is 100% superwash merino, with 334 yards(305 meters)/ 100g.
The two colorways are Arco Iris, a wonderfully variegated rainbow of hues, and Prussian Blue, a dark almost-solid navy.
One skein of each will be in each kit.
