Wow!

Catie just reworked her stunning Zig Zag Lace scarf, originally done in a now-discontinued yarn in the beautiful Poems Silk. And it looks amazing.

Another beauty from Catie!

This Zig Zag Lace Scarf is a great little project --- It combines a very simple lace pattern with glorious beads in a simple-to-make and gorgeous-to-wear scarf!

I quote Cate here:

"A lovely, lacy scarf with a bit of sparkle. A gorgeous accessory for almost any outfit.

"Very easy to do, it's all in one piece in purl stitch! Make several -- keep a few, give some as gifts!"

The finished size is 6" x 56" if you get a gauge of 3 1/2 stitches to the inch in garter stitch. Gauge is not crucial, but it may affect the amount of yarn needed and the finished size achieved.

It is hard to capture the glow and glimmer of the beads in a photograph -- you can see them on the enlarged photos. They add a marvelous glow.

This beauty needs only two skeins of Poems Silk or any other worsted weight yarn (you will need about 218 yards total), and about 384 of size 6/0 beads.

If you would like any help matching your beads to the colorway you select, let us know -- we are just an email away.

Wow!

Really really lovely.
