Finished measurements:
• 5 (5¾)” / 12.5 (14.5) cm circumference
• 4¼ (4¾)” / 11 (12) cm wrist to top
• 5¾ (6½)” / 14.5 (16.5) cm length
Both right and left mittens are fully charted.
You will need Fingering / 4 ply (14 wpi) weight yarn, less than 50 grams of each of two colors.
You are going for a gauge of 32 stitches and 37 rows = 4 inches in stranded colorwork
Barbara's original needle size was US 1½ - 2.5 mm and US 2 - 2.75 mm. Lovely little mittens, intended to fit a child aged 2-4, 4-6.
