Another gorgeous adventure in short-rows!

Ona is the designer behind Wöldten and this scarf, called Lindal Tørkle, is a recent addition to her Lindal Collection.  

Again we are delighted that we were able to duplicate exactly what the designer used to create her original piece.

The Design

Here is what Ona writes: 

The Lindal Tørkle is part of my Lindal Collection and features a cascading line of increasingly larger short-row shapes that are mirrored both across the width of the scarf and the length to create a beautiful symmetrical design that can be worn similar to a cravat and tied, or secured with a pin or brooch in the front.

Yarn and Colorways

Ona made a number of versions of this scarf .  We brought in the yarn she used for the two she knit using Freia Ombre Finingering Minikins.

These Minikins are custom spun, single ply 100% US mulesing-free Merino, with each ball giving 107 yards (98m) per 25g.

A. The Full-Mirrored Design (shown in the first four photos on this page) used 4 minikins, one each in Pt. Reyes, Cloud, Oyster , and Espresso. 

Your Kit A will include one of each of these for a total of four.

The base price you see on this web page is for Kit B.  The Kit A, using more minikins, is marked via the drop-down menu to add the higher cost.

B. The Half-Design (shown in the remaining photos) uses three Minikins in two of the colorways: Chaparral and Oyster.  Two minikins of Chapparal are needed plus one Oyster. 

Your Kit B will include these three.
