And a third offering in Catie's marvelous new Cowl series of patterns!
This one is a shaped cowl, studded with star-like beads, to create a wonderful creation, purple or not.
Catie writes, "Majestic is the ideal word to describe this beautiful, graceful cowl.
"It's constructed with "mountains" of reverse stockinette stitch with "valleys' of drop stitch lace, and accents of sparkling silvery beads.
"Shaped for perfect drape, the circumference is eight inches larger at the bottom than at the top."
And, might I add, it is beautiful as well.
The finished size is 28" circumference at the bottom, and 20" circumference at the top. It is approximately 9 inches high.
You will need DK Weight yarn -- about 200 yards will do it. And 400 of size 6/0 beads to fit the yarn. Catie used a size 7 (US) circular needle.
What a neat little project! Perfect knitting to create a snuggle-ready piece for the cold-nesses of winter or the gifting-nesses of the holidays.
