Shiftalong is a simple hat pattern by Andrea Mowry. A great introduction to mosaic knitting, I quote the designer here: "If you can slip sts, knit and purl - then you can do Mosaic knitting!"
Get the pattern directly from Andrea on her Ravelry page here. What we have put together are kits in some absolutely yummy sport weight yarns.
Our yarns and colorways are not the same as what Andrea used for her original.
Moonshine Fine is a sport weight yarn and again I quote): "Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, this exquisite yarn features a harmonious composition of 30% baby alpaca, 30% wool, 25% polyamide, and 15% silk, ensuring a sumptuously soft feel and stunning drape. Each skein... offers 100 grams of pure inspiration, with 437 yards of luscious yarn waiting to be transformed into your next masterpiece."
We have for this kit one skein of a solid and one of a handpaint. You can see these in the inset photo on the top picture on this page and again below that.
Mardi Gras is a handpainted variegated beauty. I see gold, amber, olive, borwn, blue and violet.
Grapeade is a rich and glowing violet, an amethyst that is just enough different than the violet that is in Mardi Gras so that all the colors stand out well.
