We can now offer this pattern as either an emailed PDF version or as a hard copy printed out and mailed to you -- your choice.
Just know that sending via email is not automatic; I have to manually send the pdfs and usually do so when working on sending out kits (so it might be a short wait).
And, of course, the printed copy is more expensive as it is set to allow for printing costs and shipping fees.
A beautiful beaded shawl, designed by Amanda of Shuttermonkey Designs.
She writes that the design was inspired by an online knit-along on Ravelry that was taking place close to Valentine's Day. And, naturally enough, the theme was love.
And so she created this beauty -- the lace motifs resemble hearts and the beads highlight each just perfectly to my eye.
All that is needed is 352 - 387 yards (322 - 354 m) of fingering weight yarn plus 205 of size 8/0 beads (added by the crochet hook method). Amanda used silver lined crystal ones so they really stand out and sparkle.
We have quite a few gorgeous Fingering Weight yarns in stock that I think would work beautifully with this pattern.
Fun and really lovely!
