The Yarn and Colorways
We brought in the exact colors and yarns you see in the photo on this page, created using The Alpaca Company's Mini Skeins in the colorway called Mermaid Tales..
What are these yarns?
These are packs of 10 mini-skeins, each 65% Superwash Wool, 20% Alpaca, 15% Nylon and totalling 1,100 yards/ 250g. They are fingering weight.
Mermaid Tales runs a lovely gamut including light green, green-teal, green, wisteria, lilac, aubergine, turquoise, capri blue, deep teal and yellow.
The connecting lines on the design are knit using an almost solid of golden tones called Rumplestilskin. Each of these skeins is 20% alpaca + 65% superwash wo9ol + 15% nylon, with 100g giving 440 yards.

Our kits consist of one set of Mermaid Tales + one Rumplestilskin skein.
Please note: We can also substitute the golden Rumplestilskin with Black Purl (a rich deep black) -- if you would prefer your borders and lines to be this dramatic colorway, just let me know.
