What a neat design!
Here is another lovely pattern by Chrissy of Left Side Knits, which we are offering a hard copy.
Made using a gradiance-style or long color repeat yarn to create a most lovely cowl, this pattern is tremendous fun to knit.
Called Chou, here is what Chrissy says:
"Chou is an eternity loop cowl knit in the round. It can be worn as either a long loop around your neck or it can be doubled for warmth. It is also easily modified to create a shorter and/or wider cowl.
"With both charts and written instructions, knitters are able to choose the most comfortable way to follow the pattern.
"I knit the sample shown using a skein of Twisted Fiber Art’s Arial Evolution in “Mon Petit Chou” which translates to “My Little Cabbage”. As soon as I had this skein in hand, I knew that I wanted to evoke the curvy leaves of a cabbage and hope that you can see it in the lace."
This one really makes me smile!
Go for between 350 - 400 yards (320 - 366 m) of fingering weight yarn --- and you will have a marvelous time creating something warm and loving, for yourself or a perfect gift.
