We can offer this pattern as either a downloadable PDF version or as a hard copy printed out and mailed to you -- your choice.
Just know that sending via email is not automatic; I have to manually send the pdfs and usually do so when working on sending out kits (so it might be a short wait).
And, of course, the printed copy is more expensive as it is set to allow for printing costs and shipping fees. This particular pattern is 40 pages.

A really special design by Verna Knapp. I copy here what she writes:
Dragonfly on Midsummer Pond is a heavily beaded lace design for intermediate or advanced knitters. The pattern includes both written and charted instructions. There is a circle version (5 panels) and a 3 panel semicircle version. The pattern includes directions for the use of The Unique Sheep Gradiance yarns, both in lace weight and in fingering weight.
The full circle uses 5490 beads, and the three panel version uses 3314 beads. The bead count has been broken down by region: Center water lily, pond weed, center of dragonfly body, outer edge of dragonfly body, dragonfly eyes, dragonfly wings, and outer water lily (shore). It can be knit with up to 7 colors of beads, if one is feeling ambitious. There are a couple of rows with up to 5 colors on them.
This pattern will also work with no beads at all.

Dragonfly on Midsummer's Pond requires either lace weight or fingering weight yarn. For the circle version, you'd need 1,868 yards of lace weight and for fingering 2,172.40 yards. The three panel crescent uses 1,228 yards for lace and 1,428 yards for fingering.
