We have long wished we could get galvanized beads, which have a finish which generally speaking make them look like the true metal and really catch the light to stand out on yarn. Up to now, we've avoided them as the finish tended to flake off if abraded or washed. However, Miyuki (and Toho also, but these beads are Miyuki) has recently come out with a finish they call Duracoat. And what this basically means is that this galvanization will stay looking lovely.
