Galvanized beads have a finish which generally speaking make them look like the true metal, in this case silver.

Up to now, we've avoided galvanized beads as the finish tended to flake off if abraded or washed. However, Miyuki (and Toho also, but these beads are Miyuki) has just come out with a finish they call Duracoat. And what this basically means is that this galvanization will stay looking lovely.

We took this photo showing both the 8/0 size and the 6/0 -- the smaller ones on the left are 8/0s and the larger ones are the ones on this web page, the 6/0s.

We are packaging these in our smaller 20 gram containers (figure about 12 beads per gram in this 6/0 size).
