This is a very simple kit for the Great Owl Hat by Joan Rowe.

Please be sure to get your pattern from Joan herself on her Ravelry page here. What we offer is simply a skein of Rios yarn in your choice of colorway + two 2-hole buttons made of olive wood that are 20mm each (7/8").

Joan writes:
This hat, reminiscent of a great horned owl, is knitted in the round from the bottom up, and shaped with cables and short rows.

Our yarn is not the same as what Joan used for her original ones. You can see our yarn in the inset photo on the top picture on this page.
Our yarn is from Malabrigo, their Rios, a 100% superwash merino, a plied yarn with 210 yards (192m) per 100g skein.
Select your colorway via the drop-down menu above (under the top photo on this page).
1. Cape Cod Gray is a subtle cool tonal mix of medium and light grays.
1a. Gris is another gray Rios which to my eye looks virtually the same. Once one sells out, this one will work too.
And for those who don't care if their owls are the "right" color or not, we also have:
2. Aguas, again a tonal blend, this time of cool rich evergreen.

Plus every kit will include one pair of 2-hole olive wood buttons, each 20mm or about 7/8".
