A beautiful set of mini-skeins from Sweet Georgia Yarns.

I thought at first I would offer this as a kit but there are so so so sooooo many gorgeous designs that would work beautifully with these that I decided instead to offer them as themselves, with a few suggestions you can check out.

The Sweet Georgia folk took their very popular Element Collections of colorways and "shadowed" them to create what is now called their Eclipse Collection.

Here is what they write:

Inspired by the autumn equinox, these six new hues blend the allure of jewel tones with the mystique of celestial shades.

Watch your handmade projects come to life!

What we brought in is called their Hexa Hue Mini-Skein Set.

Each set contains six 105-yards mini skeins for a total of 630 yds / 576 m.

They have been dyed in Sweet Georgia's Tough Love Sock fingering-weight yarn (80% Superwash merino, 20% Nylon).

The last photo on this page shows the Starburst Shawl by Emily Wood.

If you would like to duplicate that, the pattern is available on Sweet Georgia's website here or on Ravelry here.

The photos shows it as knit using the Hexa Hue set plus one skein of Tough Love in Birch.  Instead of Birch, we brought in some Tough Love in Snowfall, a lovely medium gray, wanting a cool tone.  If you would like to add one skein to your set, that option is offered in the drop-down menu above.

(Note: The knit sample was adjusted slightly from the original pattern's stripes section, in order to use 6 CC colours in place of the original 5 CC colours listed in the pattern.)

There are also quite a few designs using mini-skeins that have been created by Ambah and by Lisa K. Ross that would work beautifully with these sets.

You might find you need to make a few adjustments as some patterns call for more or less mini-skeins but there is a good amount of yardage here and it lends itself beautifully.
