Be sure to get your pattern directly from the designer on her Ravelry page here. We have simply put together some really special yarns to knit this with.

The Design
Here is what Ona writes:
Lindal Lyria is part of my Lindal Collection focusing on short-row knitting techniques and highlighting the way color uniquely pools within the shapes of this design, which is well suited to self-striping and gradient yarn.
This design can be worn as a cowl, but is equally beautiful displayed as a centerpiece on a dining room table with a gorgeous flower arrangement (as shown in photos).
This pattern is also part of my Systema Naturae Collection and eBook. All of the designs from this collection are inspired by the beautiful organic shapes of seashells.
Lyria is a name derived from the Ancient Greek Λύρα, or “lyre”, a type of stringed instrument and member of the lute family. The earliest known examples dating from c.2700 BCE in Mesopotamia. The shell is a genus of medium-sized sea snails in the family Volutidae.
Yarn and Colorways
We did not put together kits of the original yarn that the designer used. However, we did go back and forth with her on possibilities and we came up with what I think you will really enjoy.
You can see our kits in the inset photos on the bottom section of the first picture on this page and again below that.
The main colorway can be a gradiently dyed yarn and needs at least 130 yards. The gradiently dyed yarns that are part of both of these kits are from Freia Fibers and is a plump deliciously soft and lofty 3-ply of 70% merino + 30% silk, custom spun into Freia's "refined" worsted weight.
This luxurious yarn comes in 75g already-wound balls of 165 yards (151m) each. So one ball will give you plenty for this design.
For the contrast colorway, we have chosen almost-solids, with well more than the 136 yards needed.
