A new colorway from Madeline Tosh, based on The Gum Wall, Seattle’s 50-foot-long, encrusted alley of wax, resin, and saliva that attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists a year to see the ick.

Colorful, gross, oddly irresistible.

The Gum Wall is a brick wall situated beneath Pike Place Market in Downtown Seattle, Washington, United States. Located on Post Alley near Pike Street, south of the market's main entrance off 1st Avenue, the wall is covered with used chewing gum.

We brought in two weights of yarn dyed in this unique colorway.

Tosh Merino Light is fingering weight 100% merino with 420 yards (384m) / 100g.

Tosh Vintage is a worsted weight, 100% superwash merino wool with 200 yards (182m).

With purchase you will get a coupon code that gives you a choice of one of two patterns.

To go with the Tosh Merino Light, you might like to knit the Lasso Scarf.  This uses one skein of the TML.

To go with the Tosh Vintage, you might choose the hat called Vintage Cowtown Classic, also requiring just one skein.
