I am in love.

Facing the open waters of the sea, you will be at one with the elements in this wonderful wrap.

Simple to work in alternating patterns of Seed Stitch and Wrapped Stitches, it is worked in one piece, then sewn along one side. There is just enough shaping so that the wrap will sit comfortably on your shoulders when you wear it for your walks along the shore.

The design was originally done using 375 m/ 410 yards of a worsted weight yarn, Lorna's Laces Lion & Lamb.

Size : One size fits most.

Length (from neck line to bottom edge): 46 cm./18 in.

Width around bottom edge(excluding fringes): 142 cm./56 in.

Level: Easy

Suggested Yarn : Worsted, medium weight yarn, preferably in a soft, luxurious yarn which you would enjoy wearing next to your skin.

Needles : 5.5 mm. (US 9) circular needle, at least 120 cm./47 in. long

Gauge : 11 sts and 20 rows = 10 cm./4 in. square

This is such a lovely wrap -- and note that "level" listed above is Easy -- perfect for taking on your travels perhaps.
