We had our first snowfall of the season --- the white gloriousness making everything look clean and fresh.
I love walking as it falls, watching for pawprints in the whiteness and listening to the seasons quiet. Of course, I have been known to occasionally belt out a song or two on my way. This time of year "White Christmas" is often heard by the chipmunks.

This design was my introduction to the works of Laura Nelkin, waaaaaay back when she got her start at Schaefer Yarns. Well, time has passed and she has "grown" into a major figure in the knitting world. This one is still one of my favorites. Beautiful yarn + lots and lots of beads = a project that is fun from start to end and beyond....
This is really special. A mosaic knit that makes for a really striking unisex cowl; different and simply lovely. Arella Seaton is a designer who is new to us and I am really really pleased to be able to share her work -- this would make a great gift for anyone in your life.

What can I say? Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous! I really am pleased with the kits we put together. Supplies are somewhat limited though; I just thought you should know. Chris of Ursa Major Knits never disappoints with a very detailed pattern and a most unique design.
