This is essentially a "one-skein-of-yarn" sort-of-kit. It is just that I love love love this pattern and happened upon yarn that just sings to be used for it.
The cowl was knit in Malabrigo's Rios (which is lovely too), I had brought in some Tosh DK and discovered that it would also work perfectly -- and it has such a marvelous squishiness...!
But I am getting ahead of myself here.

If you want this yarn to knit the pattern shown here, it should be gotten from the designer directly on her Ravelry page here. Essentially this is a webpage for a skein of yarn, with your choice of two colorways.

The Design
The design is by Jennifer, aka Lavish Craft. This cowl is (to quote her) "Fit and Flared Cowl With 8 Widening Columns of Overlapping “Moons”."
The Yarn and The Colorways
For this cowl Jennifer recommends 250 yards (m) Light Worsted Weight Yarn.
Rios, which is what she knit her original with, is a light worsted/dk weight with 210 yards/ 100g skein. Tosh DK , which is what we offer here, is 100% superwash merino, with 225 yards (205m) per 100g skein. (You can see our yarns in the upper left-hand corner of the top photo and again below that.)
So it is very possible that one skein might not be enough.
However, of the test knits, two out of four used less than one skein of Rio. Thus (unless you tell me differently) we are saying that one skein may be enough to knit this beauty. If you want to be absolutely certain, get two.
We brought in two colorways for you to choose from, both almost-solids with slight variations of tone throughout:
Coquette Deux: a rich pink-magenta
Iris: a deep royal purple

As a further suggestion, take a look at our new All That Jazz Cloche. If you would like two cool colorways to knit that one with, instead of the brown and gold combo, these would be perfect! (Just tell me that you intend them for the cloche and mitts and we'll work out getting you the beads too.)
