Only one kit left!

This is a most beautiful shawl and we brought in the exact colorways in Minikins that Tina Whitmore (the genius behind Freia Fibers) used for her original Vice Versa Wrap.

Get the pattern directly from the designer either on Ravelry or from her website.  What we offer is a set of 6 minikins in the colors you see here.

Here is what Tina writes:

Stop traffic with this bold graphic! Vice Versa is a semi-circular shawl worked in 2 contrasting minikin colors - seen here in 3 balls each of Aurora and Harvest.

This makes a lovely soft shawl that’s easy to style as a multitude of ways as a scarf or if you prefer, use a pin at the neck to create a cape.

Knit using a very basic short row repeat (Look Ma! No wraps!) to create a pinhole lace along the center line of each triangle for added decorative effect.

This is a perfect pattern to kick back, put on your favorite podcast or movie and enjoy the meditation of the knit stitch.

Yarn and Colorways

Our kits will allow you to make exactly what you see on this page.  You will get six minikins, each Single ply 100% US Merino Wool (mulesing-free) with 107 yards (97m) per 25g ball.

This single-ply merino is grown on small farms in the Rockies and milled in North Carolina. The yarn is hand-dyed at the Freia studio in North Adams with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. The yarn is untreated so it must be washed by hand or it will felt.

Each kit includes:

3 x Aurora : a strking colorway that mimics the Northern Lights, with blue into turquoice into gold (or the opposite order depending on the way the ball is wound).

3 X Harvest : the colors of Autumn with olive into orange into rusty red (or vice versa).

Finished size: approximately 50” long (tip to tip) and 18” wide.

Gauge: Knit at 20 sts and 34 rows over 4” in pattern stitch, before blocking.

Suggested Needle Size: US7 - 4.5mm 32” and a tapestry needle for finishing.
