Design

Here is how Alexandra describes this piece:

This uniquely constructed one sleeve wrap is light and very ornate.

Perfect for a breezy evenings by the sea, or a daytime stroll, this garment will keep you cozy in style! You can wear it with an evening dress, or pair it with jeans and a simple tee - this piece is instant chic!

Yarn and Colorways

The yarn that was originally used for this was Madelinetosh Twish Light, 75% superwash merino + 25% nylon and with 420 yards/ 100g.  Our yarn is that exact same yarn.

The original colorway that Alexandra used was Translation, an almost-solid turquoise blue with subtle variations of dark-and-light.

Our colorway is the same.  Each kit conists of three skeins of Twist Light in Translation + beads as described below.

Beads

The designer used 40 grams of 6/0 beads from Miyuki in Blue Ceylon.  Unfortunately we are unable to get that color bead in that size from any of our suppliers. However, we do have others that will look great with this design.

I like the simplicity of Silver Lined (S/L) Crystal or S/L Crystal AB.  There are also a few other blue beads that I think would look great with this piece.

If you have a color preference bead-wise, tell me.  Otherwise I will choose for you.
